HEALTHY BOUNDARIES

Respect personal space and privacy of others. It is equally important to have healthy boundaries with others. Trust others but not blindly. Keep your valuables safe and locked.

SILENCE = SOLITUDE

Whether you are a morning bird or a night owl, be mindful of the noise levels at all times. Always use headphones while using your phone and lower your volume while being on calls. Maintain the peaceful space (I can relate with you musicians L but no worries you can practice on terrace).

SHARING IS CARING

Got nothing interesting to wear outside? Grab something from your roomie’s wardrobe! (if they don’t mind then only lol.) Well, sharing stuff helps in building trust! J And trust is of immense importance while you dwell in a hostel. Be generous with shared items and also respect others’ belongings.

CLEANLINESS IS CRUCIAL

Maintain proper cleanliness in your room as well as in common spaces. Always clean up after using kitchen. Don’t occupy bathroom for longgg. Don’t clutter in sitting areas and avoid keeping your personal stuff in common spaces. A clean space isn’t just about physical cleanliness, it improves mental wellbeing as well, thus, overall improving your living experience.

COMMUNICATE

Address any issues or problems by politely approaching fellow residents and management. Avoid arguments over small issues. Build a positive atmosphere. Share your experiences with others as well. Communication is the key right? Hmm good!

WATER A POSITIVE COMMUNITY

Hostel is the first place where you start building connections other than school or college. Participate in the community where you could thrive most, mentally, and physically. Be friendly and approachable. Always look for a lesson in everybody you meet and build a supporting community.
